With water temperatures of around 24°c in the summer and 18°c in the winter and visibility between 15-30 metres Tenerife is generally regarded as an all year round diving destination.
Octopus, barracuda, small arrow crabs, rays and at certain times of the year angel sharks. Slopes, steps, walls, caves, caverns and wrecks just a small list of things to see whilst diving in Tenerife.
Scuba diving in Tenerife tends to be more popular on the south of the Island as this is where the majority of the dive resorts and schools are situated, although some schools will take day trips to the rest of the island and also boat trips to the smaller surrounding islands.
